The BA Celebrates the Birthday of Naguib Mahfouz

The BA Arts Center celebrates the birth of the Nobel Laureate Egyptian Novelist Naguib Mahfouz by screening two of his films under the title of “Day of Naguib Mahfouz” on 11 and 12 December 2009.
On Friday, 11 December 2009, Khan El-Khalili will be screened directed by Atef Salem, Egypt – Fiction – 1966 – 120 min. The following day will feature El-Karnak, directed by Aly Badrakhan, Egypt – Fiction – 1975 – 140 min.
It is worth mentioning that since its inauguration, the BA annually celebrates the birthday of Naguib Mahfouz on 11 December and the birthday of Shakespeare on 23 April.
Films are screened at the BA Auditorium at 7:00 pm, and are open for public
