The lecture will shed light on the ancient Egyptian papyrus, its manufacture, preservation and uses. It will be presented by Professor Abdelhalim Nureldin, Dean, Faculty of Archeology, El-Fayoum's Branch of Cairo University; and Director of the Center for the Study of Writing and Calligraphy at Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The lecture is open to the public.
