The BA Prepares to Launch the Alexandria Quantum Hackathon

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is preparing to host the Alexandria Quantum Hackathon from 3 to 5 September. It is a notable scientific event both locally and internationally, bringing together a select group of experts, researchers, and innovators from Egypt and around the world to explore the latest developments in quantum computing and future technologies, and study their impact on various sectors, with a focus on promoting innovation in the Arab world.
Participants in the hackathon will work on developing innovative solutions to critical issues in the fields of environment, healthcare, and urban planning using quantum computing technologies. In conjunction with the event, a strategic workshop will be held to develop a roadmap for the future of quantum technologies in Egypt, with the participation of a select group of jury members, industry leaders, scientists, and researchers, with the aim of formulating a shared vision for the future of this promising field.
