“Sustainable Development and Peacebuilding” in a Seminar at the BA

The BA Cultural Outreach Sector organized a cultural seminar entitled "Sustainable Development and Peacebuilding", in cooperation with the World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates, as part of the "Ambassadors of Al-Azhar" project.

Dr. Sameh Fawzy, Senior Researcher at the BA, spoke at the event, which was supervised by the BA Heritage Revival Project, with the participation of a large number of researchers, professors, international students, and Al-Azhar graduates.

The seminar was presented by Dr. Al-Shaimaa El-Demerdash, Director of the BA Heritage Revival Project and coordinator of the event, who said in her speech that an important part of the BA mission is to make culture, art, and dialogue the foundations of building an educated and civilized human beings.

Dr. Sameh Fawzy began his lecture, which was held at the BA Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage (CULTNAT), by discussing the concept of sustainability, and how it takes into account the social, environmental, and economic dimensions of making good use of available resources.

The event concluded with a tour of the CULTNAT and its Culturama shows, which showcases the history of Egypt through the ages.
