“Tales of Pots Strainers” in a Workshop at the BA

The BA Antiquities Museum organizes a workshop entitled “Tales of Pots Strainers” on Monday and Tuesday, 5 – 6 August 2024, at 10:00 am, in the Afterlife Hall, BA Main Building.
The first day will begin with an introductory lecture on Islamic art and ceramics by Ms. Eman Mekawy, a visual artist, interior designer at Cairo Opera House, and former director of Damanhur Opera House.
The second day will feature a workshop to train participants on how to create and design models of pots strainers with the use of multiple forms of geometric, plant, and animal motifs.
