“Active Citizenship and Positive Participation” Workshop

The BA Unit of Futuristic Studies holds on Wednesday, 21 November 2012, a workshop with university students and young activists on promoting active citizenship, positive participation and non-violent struggle in the context of the Egyptian and Indian experiences and the Arab Spring.
The discussion is moderated by Dr. Linda Herrera, Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Policy, Organization and Leadership at the University of Illinois, and hosts Rajmohan Gandhi, Research Professor at the Center for South Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, University of Illinois.
