Celebrating the Anniversary of Shadi Abdel Salam

The Friends of Shadi Abdel Salam Museum and the BA Arts Center holds on Wednesday, 11 April 2012, a celebration marking the anniversary of Director Shadi Abdel Salam (1930- 1986).
The event includes a screening of Shakawi El-Falah El-Fasseh, directed by Shadi Abd El-Salam, winner of the 1970 Venice International Film Festival Golden Lion. The screening is followed by a lecture by Egyptologist Bassam El-Shamaa entitled “Symbols in Shadi’s Films: New Interpretations”.
The event starts at 6:00 pm at the BACC Lecture Hall.
