The BA and Hayah Karima Foundation Launch “Secrets of Craftsmanship” Program to Empower Egyptian Women Economically

As part of the cooperation agreement between the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Hayah Karima Foundation, the Women Studies and Social Transformation Program organized the “Secrets of Craftsmanship” program from 26 to 30 August 2025 at the Library’s Conference Center, with the aim of empowering Egyptian women and building their capacities in handicrafts and entrepreneurship.
The program aims to train a group of Egyptian women in handicrafts with a focus on the art of natural leather working, thereby enhancing their professional skills and helping them unlock new job opportunities.
