Launching the "Green Universities for a Better Future" Project at the BA

The BA Sustainable Development Studies, Youth Capacity Building, and African Relations Support Program is launching the "Green Universities for a Better Future" project, in cooperation with the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University, Earth’s Climate for Sustainable Development Foundation, and the GEF Small Grants Program, on 11 May 2025, at 12:00 pm, in the BACC Meeting Room C.
This project is among those funded by the GEF Small Grants Program to promote climate action and integrate sustainability principles into university education. It aspires to transform the Faculty of Pharmacy at Alexandria University into a leading model for a green college. The BA Sustainable Development Studies Program is on the project’s advisory board.
The project also aims to educate students about the importance of climate action, in addition to building the capacity of young people in the fields of green economy and environmental entrepreneurship.
