The BA Celebrates Open Access Week

The BA Technical Operations Department celebrates Open Access Week for the seventh consecutive year, from 21 to 23 October 2024 (celebrated worldwide in the last week of October), with the aim of highlighting the need to make knowledge accessible through open access publishing.
It is worth mentioning that the free access to information is a publishing database that provides direct, immediate and free access to the results of scientific research such as articles, books, theses and others via the Internet, as well as the right to reuse these resources in new research.
On the sidelines of the "Open Access Week", the BA has dedicated a corner for users to learn more about the free access to information, at the BA Main Entrance, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Three recurrent hands-on workshops on how to use open access resources will be held at the Learning Center, BA Main Building, B3 level, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
